"And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the Lord with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the Lord, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines" 1 Samuel 7:3
The Lord is with you when you are with him; if you seek him, you will find him; but if you forsake him, he will forsake you (2 Chro. 15:2). But in returning to the Lord, you must do it wholeheartedly.
Jesus is the way back to God and to return to him involves the heart that believes completely in the finished death, resurrection, ascension and the second coming of Christ. Returning back to God is beyond joining a church or a prayer meeting/ministry. There are many that think joining church or attendance to ministry is what it takes to return back to God. The are others that are in church, yet they have other things they worship and trust for protection and/or prosperity.
A wholehearted return to God is putting away all the idols and anchoring your trust in the Lord, and to come back to him through faith in Jesus Christ.
🙏 LORD, we pray for those that are far from you, that you draw them closer back to you through your Son Jesus Christ.
JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GOD.
